Kanda Fry (Yam)

Ingredients:

Kanda – 250 Grams
·
Salt to Taste
·
One Teaspoon Chilli Powder
·
Half Teaspoon Turmeric powder
·
Cooking Oil for Frying
Cooking Steps:
1) First
peel the skin off Yam using peeler, then wash it under water before cutting
them into thin slices in square shape
2) In
a bowl take the Yam Slices add salt, chilli powder and Turmeric powder, then
add little water for mixing and keep aside for 15 minutes
3) Keep
the frying pan and turn on the heat, add oil for frying and wait till oil is
ready for frying and add the pieces taking turns to fry small quantities till
they turn golden brown.
4) Remove
them once they turn golden brown and they ready to serve
Note: If you don’t want the
fry to be little less crispy cut the yam into thicker portions
