SOYA BALLS,VEG KHEEMA BALLS

Spicy Veg Kheema balls


INGREDIENTS:
  • Roasted chana dal-2 to 3 table spoons
  • Cinnamon,cardamom,clove(whole garam masala)
  • Poppy seeds(gasagasalu)-3 table spoons
  •  1/2 Coconut
  •  1 large onion
  • Soya granules-soaked in water for half an hour
  • Salt-as per taste
  • Chilli powder-2 to 3 spoons
  • Turmeric powder-a pinch
  • Mint leaves(pudina)
  • Coriander leaves
  • Ginger Garlic paste-1 large spoon
  • oil

PREPARATION TIME-30 MINUTES


PROCEDURE:

1.Take a mixer grinder and add roasted chana dal,poppy seeds,cinnamon,cardamom,clove,coconut cut into small pieces and onion.Make a fine paste of all this.
 

 2. Take a pan and add the soaked soya,salt,turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste

 

 3.Cook the soya for 5-10 minutes and off the stove.




 4.Add this cooked soya to the coconut and masala paste that is present in the grinder and grind it
  again.


 5.To this mixture add mint leaves and coriander leaves. Then make them into round balls as shown in the below image.



 6.Take a kadai and heat oil. When the oil is hot,add these soya balls and fry them till they are golden brown.

 7.Serve the soya balls in a serving bowl.


 TIP:
If the soya balls break when you fry them in oil,then add a spoon of roasted chana dal's powder(putnal pappu podi) to the mixture. And then make ball and fry them.
